The enemy

You Know The Sound.

The slurp. Your suction sealer drinking the marinade at 10pm the night before the cookout. The bag that sealed, and then did not. The elk from two seasons ago, mummified in frost.

You did not fail. Your machine did. Chamber sealers work on completely different physics. The whole bag goes inside the chamber, so the liquid stays exactly where you put it. No slurp. No mess. No casualties.

See How Chamber Sealing Works
The proof

It seals a bag of soup. Clean.

Your old suction sealer would drink that soup and choke on it. Here is the official Avid Armor demo doing the exact thing a clip-style sealer never could.

Know your enemy

Retire the slurp machine.

A clip-style suction sealer and a chamber machine are not the same tool. One drinks your marinade. The other seals it flat.

The suction sealer

Sucks air through the bag

Drags liquid into the seal and chokes on it. Leaves air behind, so freezer burn still wins. Pricey textured bags only.

vs
The Avid chamber
Avid Armor chamber vacuum sealer

Vacuums the whole box

Pulls the air from the entire chamber at once, so liquids seal flat and airtight. No slurp, no failed bags, no burn.

A bag of soup sealed clean

It seals liquids

Soups, marinades, and brines seal flat and clean. The one thing a suction sealer physically cannot do.

A steak vacuum sealed in the chamber

No freezer burn

A full vacuum pulls every last bit of air. Months of shelf life, not a couple of frost-bitten weeks.

Flat chamber pouches

Cheaper bags for life

Flat chamber pouches instead of pricey textured rolls. The savings stack up fast.

Add it up, and it all comes back to money. Less food in the trash, cheaper bags, and a machine that pays for itself.

The workbench

Designed, Tested, and Fixed in Kansas.

Avid Armor is an American small business out of Lenexa, Kansas. Founded in 2016 and backed by decades of manufacturing experience, we design chamber vacuum sealers to last. When a machine needs help, it does not go to a call center. It comes back to a workbench here in Kansas, to the same people who designed it. That is the deal.

Questions? Ask Eric.

What's a good first chamber sealer?
If counter space or budget is tight, start with the ONE, the Scout, the most compact and dead simple. If you want the machine you will grow into, get the USV20. It is the one most folks land on and never outgrow.
Which one is best for a big hunt or bulk meat?
The USVXL, the Vault. Largest chamber, a dual-wire double seal bar, and the room to run gallon bags all afternoon. Hunters and homesteaders love it.
Best one for soups, sauces, and liquids?
Any of them. That is the whole magic of a chamber machine, it seals liquid without pulling it into the seal. If you fill a lot of containers, the USV32's deeper chamber gives you the most room.
What about sous vide?
Every model pulls a true, full vacuum, so they are all sous-vide ready. The USV20 is the everyday favorite, and the USVXL if you batch-cook.
Can I seal delicate things like berries or chips without crushing them?
You bet. Turn the vacuum level down a notch and it seals soft foods gently. No crushed chips, no smashed berries.
What feature do people love the most?
Two things. The clear glass lid, because you get to watch it work, and the marinate mode, which soaks flavor into meat in minutes instead of overnight.
Why buy direct instead of grabbing one online?
Because you get us. Every machine is tested before it leaves, and if it ever needs a fix, it comes to me here in Kansas, not a warehouse that has never touched one.
Do you sell the bags too?
We do. BPA-free chamber pouches and rolls in every size. Grab a stack with your machine so you are never out mid-brisket.
Do these need maintenance?
Barely. The USVXL runs a dry pump with nothing to service, just wipe it down. And on the rare chance anything comes up, that is what I am here for.
Will this actually impress my friends?
Seal a full bag of soup in front of someone who has only ever used a suction sealer and watch their jaw drop. The USVXL for maximum showing off.
Can I seal things that are not food?
All the time. Folks seal ammo, documents, first-aid kits, even electronics. Anything you want to keep moisture and air away from.
