Ingredients:

10-15 dove, quartered or breasted

6-8 cloves garlic, whole

3 tbsp cooking oil

4 tbsp salted butter

2 medium jalapeños, sliced

½ red onion, sliced

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

2 tsp cracked pepper

1 tsp chili powder

1 cup honey whiskey (can sub any whiskey or bourbon)

1 cup BBQ sauce, use your favorite or homemade

Cooked rice, for serving (optional)

Directions:

1. Heat the Skillet: Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and butter, and stir until they combine and the butter melts.

2. Sauté Garlic and Onions: Add the minced garlic and chopped red onions to the skillet. Sauté them for about 1 to 2 minutes until they become fragrant and the onions begin to soften.
