Introducing the Avid Armor Ultra Series USV20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer System. Chamber vacuum sealers are a proven technology used for many years in the commercial packaging industry. Chamber vacuum technology picks up where the standard, suction-type vacuum sealers begin to fall short. The USV20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is made to create a maximum level of vacuum when sealing all types of food, but also excels at effectively vacuum sealing any liquid or liquid rich food. Everything from soups, sauces, and marinades to your favorite infused cocktail.

The USV20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is equipped with many of the features as its predecessor, the USV32, including the same pump and seal bar, but in a smaller, more compact design to sit neatly on your countertop. The USV20 has a sleek, stainless-steel body, a flat, tempered glass lid, and side handles for easy carrying. The USV20 also has an integrated accessory port for quickly and easily vacuum sealing external jars and canisters. The USV20 model would be ideal if you are looking to vacuum seal individual or small family size portions for long term freezer storage or sous vide cooking.

Using the USV20 is effortless and can be done in as little as four simple steps:

  1. Place the filled pouch into the chamber - Ensure the open end of the pouch is laid flat over the seal bar and held in place using the pouch clamp.
  2. Close the lid - Inspect the pouch through the clear view lid to ensure it is positioned properly
  3. Press the ‘Auto Vac & Seal’ Button - Sealer will maintain previously used Vacuum & Seal time settings and will run the entire vacuum and seal cycle with the press of a single button
  4. Open the lid and remove the bag - Your vacuum sealed food is now ready for storage


HOW CHAMBER VACUUM SEALERS WORK:

With chamber vacuum technology, the bag or pouch is placed in a 'chamber', then the lid is closed over the chamber to create an airtight seal. When the machine runs its vacuum seal cycle, all the air is removed from the chamber, the bag is then sealed, and lastly, the air is put back into the chamber, immediately creating a very high level vacuum packed bag. Since the air isn't being sucked out of the bag itself, it is being removed from the entire chamber, you are able to effectively vacuum seal all liquids and liquid rich foods without creating the mess like a traditional suction vacuum sealer.
